Octavi Serra Arrizabalaga, better known as Aryz, is a Spanish contemporary muralist and painter known for his public art interventions around the world. Octavi began painting in abandoned and less frequented areas. As he gained notoriety, he moved into painting large scale murals and has participated in urban art festivals across the world. His first large format project went up in Italy in 2010 and has been working in this format for a decade. He currently lives and works in Cardedeu, Barcelona and while he travels frequently for projects that span the globe, he is presently spending much time in his studio focused on creating a thoughtful, new body of work.
