The Artist:
Kim Schifino is one half of the indie dance duo Matt and Kim. She studied illustration at Pratt Art Institute in Brooklyn -it was there where she and Matt met- and Kim has been making art ever since. Her designs can be seen on Matt and Kim album covers and she also designs some of the band's merch. Kim's art mostly features two styles: her abstract work, which is inspired by urban landscapes, and her figurative work, which is more solemn in tone and stands in stark contrast to her endlessly upbeat personality.
