Bio of the artist:
Vexta defies definition. Her bold and extravagant artworks have invaded our visual landscape from Melbourne to Mexico and everywhere in between. She is a nomadic urban gypsy, mixing the vitalic fluorescence of the street art genre with the shamanistic sacred feminine. The traditional totems of non-western culture and ancient mythologies have become her inspiration to describe what it is to exist in the contemporary world. Born in Sydney, currently living and working in New York, she balances exhibitions with site-specific murals & installations on a grand scale.
